Come with us and explore the nature of Quebec

Dear friend,
Our excursions and expeditions are carried out in our 8.5 meter long "rabaska" canoes and offer a proven security, even for beginners. These amerindian canoes, identical to those who discovered Quebec, permit "nature lovers" to visit places accessible only by canoe.

For our five to ten-day excursions, we travel with groups of 6 to 18 persons, including our guides.

The only thing needed by each individual is a sleeping bag, everything else is provided.

Physical education instructors, naturalists and environmental specialists to go with the groups. On a three-day or more expedition, we supply one guide per six participants and we supply one guide per ten participants on a one-day expedition.

We offer snowshoeing and ice-fishing in the Abenaki region of "Wabanaki Outfitters" with great care and camping in authentic Abenaki Tepees.

"Taste adventure". All our meals for these expeditions are prepared with great care and with the thought in mind that outdoor physical activity creates voracious appetites.

There is no canned food served on these expeditions.

The river "Toulnustouc" that takes its source from "Little Lake Manicouagan" (500 kilometers north of Baie Comeau and 250 kilometers northeast of the Manic-5 Dam) is one of Northern Quebec's most beautiful, wild and unpolluted rivers.

Surrounded by mountains. In order to reach all of this splendor, it is necessary to fly 110 kilometers by hydro-plane. The numerous sandy beaches and cascading falls along this river make it one of our favorite expeditions.

Many expeditions are offered to teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. These young adventurers, who come from Quebec,The United States, France, Switzerland and Belgium, share an exceptional adventure in a spirit of friendlinnes and cultural enrichment.

Don't worry! It is not necessary to be an athlete.
All you need is a tast for adventure and an enthusiastic attitude to fully participate in and enjoy the "great outdoors" and make many new friends at the same time.

We supply our own transportation by minibus at the airport.
These expeditions are under the direction of Gérald Desfossés, physical education instructor and former captain of "Team Quebec" during the Centennial Races.

Yours very truly,
Gérald Desfossés
